Privacy notice
This notice describes how The Tech Vault website and mobile app handle information.
Order requests
When you submit an order request, we save your name, phone number, email, area, message and selected products so the team can review availability and respond. Approved store administrators can view and manage these order requests.
Your TTV account
If you create an account, TTV Business Hub stores your account ID, name, email, optional contact details, password hash where used, connected sign-in provider identifiers and session records. Account verification and password recovery use email. Passwords are hashed rather than stored in readable form. Customer accounts are separate from staff accounts. Requests sent while signed in can be linked to your customer account.
Google and Apple sign-in
If you choose a connected provider, it verifies your identity and shares the account identifier and permitted profile details with TTV. Apple may provide a private relay email. You can connect another sign-in method from your account settings. The provider’s privacy terms also apply.
VLT AI assistant
When you send VLT a message, we send your message, a limited recent conversation history, relevant public page information and selected public catalog details to Google’s Gemini API to prepare an answer. VLT does not read form fields, passwords, private account pages or order records. Please avoid sharing sensitive information in chat. Recent chat messages are kept in this browser tab’s session storage and can be cleared using New chat. An HTTP-only browser cookie and hashed visitor/network identifiers help enforce usage limits. The Hub stores aggregate usage and estimated model costs, not chat transcripts. Google Gemini is currently used on its free tier. Google may use submitted prompts, related context and generated responses to improve its products and machine-learning models, and human reviewers may review this content. Do not submit confidential, personal or sensitive information in chat. VLT is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Google’s Gemini API terms and privacy practices apply to processing by its service.
The Tech Vault mobile app
The Android and iOS app uses the same TTV Hub customer account, catalog and request services as the website. The app stores its sign-in session in protected device storage. Saved products, bag contents, display preferences, the cached public catalog and PC Builder drafts and saved builds stay in local device storage. Saved PC builds are not automatically synchronized through your account; sharing a build uses the destination you choose in your device share sheet. VLT conversations in the mobile app stay in memory until you choose New chat or the current app session ends. You can reopen the chat panel during that session to continue the conversation. Messages you send are processed by TTV and Google Gemini as described above. The app does not include advertising or a third-party analytics SDK. IP addresses, session identifiers and hashed visitor/network identifiers are processed to protect connections and enforce usage limits.
Reporting a VLT reply
In the mobile app, you can choose Report reply, select a reason and review your report before sending it. A report includes the selected reply or an excerpt, the reason, any note you add, and your supplied name, contact phone and optional email. It does not include the rest of your conversation. TTV stores the report as a support ticket in the Business Hub so authorized staff can review it and follow up. Reports form part of support records; use the contact details below to ask about retention or deletion.
Your browser
Your order-request bag is kept in your browser’s session storage. Your display theme is kept locally in your browser. Customer sign-in uses an HTTP-only session cookie, and social sign-in temporarily uses a separate transaction cookie. Account tokens are not stored in browser local storage. Administrator sign-in uses a secure server-side session cookie and the administrator credentials configured on the TTV server. This version does not include an advertising or analytics tracker.
Payments and external services
Card payments are not active. We do not collect card numbers or CVV. Clicking a WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp, where its privacy terms apply. Imported product photos may be served by their original image provider.
Contact and deletion
To ask about your order request or request deletion of the details we hold, contact info@thetechvault-lb.com. Include your order reference if you have it.
You can delete your TTV account from Account → Account security → Delete account in the app, or use the web account-deletion page. Account deletion removes your profile, sign-in identities and sessions. Existing order and service records may remain so TTV can handle those requests.
